THE 11TH CHARLES WARREN WORKSHOP

EXPLORING THE FRONTIERS OF VIRUS GLYCOBIOLOGY

Oxford

September 1 – 4, 2026

We invite you to join us for the 11th Charles Warren Workshop — an international meeting that brings together leading investigators in the field of glycobiology. This year’s workshop, marking the 20th anniversary of the series, will be held at the University of Oxford, where Charles studied with the gala dinner at his college, Hertford.

We anticipate 70-100 participants at this three-day event, featuring research presentations and posters (including prizes!), as well as social gatherings in Oxford colleges and guided tours of the town, that will connect world leaders and early-career scientists.

The Warren Workshop has brought together leaders in glycobiology for twenty years. This year's meeting focuses on virus glycobiology while welcoming contributions from across the wider glycosciences.

Please join us to celebrate the rich history of glycobiology in Oxford and the notable contributions Charles made to the field.
